When I was at the diner the other day, yesterday I believe (?), I found out that Jesus was gone!
I heard he moved to Plano.
So I was sad that I didn't get to say good-bye.
He was one of my favorite people to talk to at the diner. He is a very good waiter.
Jesus: Hope you get a great job in Plano!
If you read this Jesus, please remember to let me know when you are coming back to Borger.
I heard you were in recently town for a wedding.
Oh, one other thing I almost forgot to teLL you: I no longer drink Dr Pepper, I have switched to very weak tea.
Well that's a shame that he left so suddenly without you getting a chance to say goodbye.

Marianne & fmcgmccllc: In the battle between me and my taste buds, they win, so it is very weak tea. Just regular tea poured on very cold ice water, plus the pink sweetener.

ReplyDeleteBadger: Yes, there are several, especiaLLy in my part of the world. He just happens to be back in Borger for a few (?) days, so he got to be my waiter today. But he didn't know that I had wrote about him, so he got to read this blog post at the diner at lunch. So we had a great time chatting, he even volunteered to go beat up someone who had been "mean" to me.
