Candy Caution: I noticed that the tips of Hershey's Kisses break off veRy easily when unwrapping the candy. I ordered a new toy today. It is an Arduino microcomputer with sensors caLLed the Sparkfun Inventors Kit. It looks like great fun and I might learn a new thing or two about programming, robotics, and electronics.

ReplyDeleteRob: Thanks for the video link. I had not watched any Arduino videos yet, but then watched a bunch of them. I was talking to my wife this morning about all the things I would like to try doing with the Arduino, so then I went ahead and purchased it today, should be here next week. I had tried buying locally but there was essentially not much at the store and it was confusing at first glance trying to buy in a store. They didn't have a complete beginners kit. So it should arrive neXt week.

ReplyDeleteBadger: That's my general plan, til death do we part. ActuaLLy with Blogger I think you can schedule the posts to have future delivery dates, so I could theoreticaLLy keep going for awhile longer. I painted yesterday about 4-5 hours and I'm veRy sore, so I am glad it is a little too cold to paint. So I am studying about transistors today. I stopped at the store a got a package of 15, now it's time to go to the diner for some coffee and chatting. I need to talk Shannon into serving desserts!
