a) If you are purple bellied, more than likely you are one of two birds. The Purple Bellied Lorry of Papau-New Guinea or the Purple Bellied Parrot of Brazil. All others, seek medical attention at once.
b) In medieval times larger households employed a person who worked the spice pantry, known as a spicerer. This job was probably something close to being a sorcerer, or am I thinking of maybe a saucerer? Portions potions potent potables and proportions of potatoes ... (potatoes, huh?)
c) The Goldman Index is a medical diagnostic tool for pre-operations consisting of nine variables. The first eight variables seem to be very specific or exact, but then the final one is: “poor general medical condition”
d) There are three “in's” in a row in the following sentence from the news article about the arrest of the man who supposedly shot at the White House on Nov 11th, 2011. “a tip came in Wednesday that the man sought by federal authorities in the Washington shooting was at a Hampton Inn in Indiana, Pennsylvania.”
e) The singer Josh Groban is on tour, titled “Straight To You Tour” running from May 12 to December 2nd of 2011. I wonder if this means I need to vacuum my living room before he comes over to my house?
f) While randomly reading articles in Wikipedia, I came across an article for a politician. It was simply one line long, and listed no accomplishments or scandals. I am trying to decide based on this eXtremely limited information if this is an eXample of a good or bad politician. I'm just not sure.
[Person's Name] is a former Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives
I just now stretched and semi-yawned to the eXtent that I thought I was going to faint. No, not really faint, let's just say on The Faint Scale of 1 to 10, it was a 0.93 - my vision blurred ever so slightly with the teleBision momentarily doing this mirage thingy. But if later I'm found dead this afternoon of "natural" causes, you'll at least have this bit of in-fo-mation, and can add it to the list of symptoms for whatever my autopsy results show killed me.
I really wanted a number just slightly below 1, the bottom of The Faint Scale, so I picked 0.93 - one of my favorite numbers between 0 and 1 simply because it is the volume percent concentration of the chemical Argon in the atmosphere at sea level. I know, chemists memorize a lot of semi-useless things. Most people don't know that Argon is the third most common gas in the atmosphere after nitrogen and oxygen. Maybe this will help you out in Jeopardy some day. Do you have a favorite number between 0 and 1? If not, you can borrow mine.
My N.M. friend told me that when she stretches and yawns, her ears roar so that she can't hear anything else.
My Response: Me Too!!!! We Musta Be Related!!!!

Esby, if you have an inclination could you check for me and see if the new Kindle Fire will accept a VPN. And if they can be used in China? I am trying between that and an iPad, price is a consideration, but if the Kindle will not download whatever I want and the iPad will download some things with a VPN, it is an issue.
I am not purple. But once during a pedicure when the tech unwrapped my feet, they were purple. She told me that was great. Hmmm.
fmcgmccllc: I will begin your investigation KiFi v iPad2 in a Sino situation using the ViPerNet sneakiness scenario. As far as pedicures and purple feet, I will have to ask my wife and our other nail technician about their eXperiences. At least it wasn't a purple belly.
I have just noticed that the Kindle Fire ads seem to rattle off several key features of the iPad. I have an original iPad and its web browser crashes quite often since the last software upgrade. Hopefully it will get back to being stable and it might be a hardware glitch on just my computer. I have just learned to copy long text passages such as this to the clipboard periodically to survive crashes and also the process of creating on the go between multiple windows.
Sounds like a fun project! More soon ...
You'll have to tell me what fmcgmccllc stands for sometime, I think I figured out part of it, just not sure. I enjoy cryptic puzzles.
Thanks Esby, more later, Internet is fritzing here can't stay on for more than a minute
fmcgmccllc: VPN on iPad & Fire Project
VPN doesn't appear to be supported on the Fire
On an iPad the support looks highly configurable
From the General tab->Network->VPN
Then you add configurations
Under configurations there are three kinds:
L2PT
PPTP
IPSec
Under L2PT it has these items
Description
Server
Account
RSA id (on-off)
Password
Secret
Send all traffic (on-off)
Proxy : Off, Manual, or Automatic
Under PPTP it has these items
Description
Server
Account
RSA id (on-off)
Password
Encryption level : Auto, Maximum, None
Send all traffic (on-off)
Proxy : Off, Manual, or Automatic
Under IPsec it has these items
Description
Server
Account
Password
Use Certificate (on-off)
Group Name
Secret
Proxy : Off, Manual, or Automatic
It appears that you could have multiple VPNs configured that you could choose from by Description
Then it has an on-off button on the VPN screen to activate the functionality.
I thoroughly enjoy my iPad. I had a smaller Android device for a couple months before it but the Android crashed all the time. The iPad rarely completely locks up. The Safari browser crashes, but returns to the place you left off most of the time. I haven't had much desire to get an iPad 2 yet, because I always carry a camera with me anyway. I don't remember how long I've had my iPad, maybe a year. It is with me a lot.
