Today is an interesting day. One of the people I follow closely in blog-land got Blogger's Blog of Note award. I have never had that happen before.
Not only is he creative and witty with his original blog posts that are filled with roughly drawn cartoons in which he appears, but the follow up commentary that he receives and gives is quite amazing to read and watch, the dynamic interaction and responses from people. I usually keep his latest blog entry always opened on my computer so that I can simply hit the refresh button and go to the bottom of the page to read the latest interaction. Warning: some adult content

Thanks for introducing me to that blog. It's too funny! Also, I can't believe you haven't been nominated for an award. You are my first stop for random ramblings and delightful word association.
S. Stauss: Thank you for your kind words about awards and such. The act of writing, publishing and the creative process are the real first half of any really worthwhile longterm "award", and the second half is getting to meet and then make deep and meaningful caring friendships with like minded folks all over the world. Blogging be fun!
glad that Bloggers's got it right for once. Most blogs of note are pretty crappy.
Friko: I agree, I rarely look at their list unless I am already in the mood to be disappointed. It isn't really a jealousy thing, I am just looking for certain styles of writing. I have learned to look for blogs that have writers connected to the ones I already like. At a very fundamental level the award process is kind of distracting. I am here to entertain, I love to write. Period. The creative process and the serendipity aspect of it all is what I find appealing. The main problem with BoN is that recipients get their e-mail filled with spam!
