So the CNN headline today reads that North Korea will stop nuclear testing activities in eXchange for food. Brilliant. Have we heard this before?
What I reaLLy want to see though is a homeless person put that message on a cardboard sign, and there are several homeless people who beg for money just a few miles down the road from the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, the final assembly point for all nuclear weapons in the USofA, about forty miles south of my house.
"Will Stop Testing Nuclear Weapons for Food/$$$"
Then I just remembered that I had nothing else better to do this afternoon than take a nap.
Hmmm, sounds interesting.

I'll bring a sandwich if you will.

Pearl
Did that just post as "anonymous"?
:-)
Whoops.
But we're still "on" for the sandwiches, right?
Dear Anonymous: Yes, Pearl, it appears you were trying to be sneaky!
Dear Pearl: Yes, I love sandwiches! So I guess we are "on", but I am a bit far from Minnesota at the moment. I did remind myself the other day that it has been almost five years since I have gone "home" to South Dakota, so I should probably do that soon. I have a friend who was born very close time wise, I think she is 41 days younger than me, and even though she is now in Delaware, she was born in Wisconsin at almost the same latitude as me.
One of my favorite sandwiches is the Chicken Deli Wrap at Jason's deli, with a side of southwestern chicken chili. Mmm... I am pretty sure that is the right name, because they have two that are similar and I have to look at menu to be sure.
Pearl: (cont) ... I forgot this part about my friend from Wisconsin. I told her that I had calculated the time difference between our birthdays, and when she was about 3.5 seconds old, I was a million times older than her.
Pearl: I found two Jason's deli restaurant in MN, one in Edina, and the other one in Eden Prarie.
In Indianapolis I saw a man with a sign that said 'need money for beer'.
Badger: I s'ppose that is a slightly better offer than:
"Will Sell Beer for Money"
