Absent For A Bit ....

I am away for a little while working on a few or more episodes for The Adventures of My Space Alien Alter Ego story ... will return (to Earth) soon!

Notice: Blogger has screwed up and lost a bunch of photos out of my blog! They are replaced with a gray silhouette of a human head. I will eventually get them replaced with the correct photo, it may take a while to find and fix everything. So some of my stories don't make much sense without their photos, sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm Sorry (But Only In A Virtual Manner)

I had a dream last night that I stole my number 3 sister's car for a few minutes. A very old mint condition Chevrolet Corvette. I took it for a ride, then returned it to its garage.

In reality this sister doesn't own a Corvette nor has she ever.

So today I caLLed her to teLL her about the dream and to apologize for stealing her car. Her response was pure laughter.

But in reality she never answered the phone caLL nor did she caLL me back, so our conversation, my apology, the pure laughter, was solely contained in my brain while driving south alone at 75 mph in the middle of Nowhere Texas. But it was her voice, my memory of her laughter, that responded to my story, my dream, in my head.

Unless she reads this and figures out that she was the sister, she wiLL never know about this or what color her Corvette was.

Blue, a light shade.

UPDATE: I tried a few days later - stiLL no response. So I caLLed sister number 2 and asked her to pass along my apology to sister number 3. She laughed and said she would teLL her my dream and apology.

Shelly: I received a Porsche 911 from my mother once, but sadly it wasn't quite the right model and it was 1/32 scale. At least it was red.

Pearl: at 6 AM my wife asked me if I was having dreams about blowtorches. I told her no, that the invention I described at 4 AM concerning using a blowtorch to sear the remainder of the weeds sticking up through the cracks in the parking lot at our place downtown was a real idea that I want to investigate. I am hoping a lil bit o' heat wiLL pursuade the asphalt tar to close up the cracks as sweLL. As far as vacations I reaLLy need to jot down my trip North. I wiLL have to see if I made it as far north as Minneapolis during my sojourn in Wyoming.

Lately aLL my toils having been trying, too many new things with computers. I may get a Windows 8 machine that is a large touchscreen for work, having way too many problems at the moment. Trying a new mouse today.

I reckon a sister could work out she was a sister even if she has never owned a old mint condition Chevrolet Corvette. Unless the sister in your dream is not a sister in real life.

That could mean the real old mint condition Chevrolet Corvette does actually exist and you need to find it and say that sadly the sister that it thought owned it does not exist. But this could mean a life long search for a old mint condition Chevrolet Corvette which may not exist and you are unable to get you sister to help, because she is not your sister and may not exist...

However it was a old mint condition Chevrolet Corvette in your dream so that is COOL.

Rob: ActuaLLy I am driving a Ford F-350 truck instead of a Corvette by choice or grand design. Three years ago I was looking for either a Corvette or an F-250, just which ever one came along first in the right used, cost, color combination and needed to be 5 years old. So an F-350 showed up instead so I bought and a week later a Corvette showed up but it was too late. I like having 4 wheel drive and like the sound of a diesel. I drove diesel heavy equipment in my youth during college summer vacations.

I had a siver Corvette with 2 tops once. It was short lived but delightful.

fmcgmccllc: I don't think I would classify my veRy used first car, a beat-up Datsun B-110, as a sports car but it was fun. I think sister number two inherited it and then wrecked it. I think the only new car I ever bought myself was a sporty dark silver car that was too close to the color of the road and I had way too many near head-on collisions in it so I traded it even-money for an older Fleetwood Brougham. I don't even remember the name of the car! I do remember it had manual shift, 2 doors and plenty of pep. It was about the time that the similar first Mitsubishi Eclipse appeared.

fmcgmccllc: Ah, it was a Chevrolet Beretta.

You have vanished again - where are you now?

I could find the longitude, latitude and altitude if you would like, I have an app for altitude now on my iPhone. I am putting another screen printing machine together so we can do the CMYK print process. I got a Cintiq 13HD today but I had problems getting it to work properly on my computer, so I think I found a problem for the Geek squad at Best Buy with the new video card device, it doesn't give me two monitors at the same time. Just busy being an artist and helping Tamie, she is excited about the printing business, more new toys soon, start printing on caps and our own designs.
