Absent For A Bit ....

I am away for a little while working on a few or more episodes for The Adventures of My Space Alien Alter Ego story ... will return (to Earth) soon!

Notice: Blogger has screwed up and lost a bunch of photos out of my blog! They are replaced with a gray silhouette of a human head. I will eventually get them replaced with the correct photo, it may take a while to find and fix everything. So some of my stories don't make much sense without their photos, sorry for the inconvenience.

Soon There Will Be Less Then More Then Less Then More ...

Watching Bolt (Walt Disney 2008) What a movie! Its plot reminds me of The Truman Show, so "The Tru-Dog Show" ? Hahahahaha

Marrying a princess is reaLLy a two part deal. You have to figure out how to marry them, then after that you have to figure out how to merry them.

So ... I haven't been asleep hardly at aLL and I have a stupid dream: my cow is stuck on top of a mesa in the far distance.

There is not much light.

Perhaps it has long horns or big ears, I can't teLL for sure, maybe both, or it has a hat on, or ear muffs, I don't know.

It is a long ways away and it is cold and it is winter-fering with my sleep.

I have no cows in real life.

-----

I am canoeing up life fixing to possibly make a veRy big choice of which tributary to take, that changes 87 percent of everything. Wish me luck.

My child is suddenly 16 times farther away for most likely several years or in my case, forever. Sad. At least there is Skype and Skype equivalencies.

Our microwave oven has been broke for several days, but it is not my duty to replace it because my wife wanted to buy the same model that she has at our store AND ... this is the important part ... she is the one assigned (by her) to get it.

So last night she gets a cinnamon roLL out of the refrigerator and asks me this question: How I am to heat this cinnamon roLL?

My answer: Hold it between your hands

She is tired and responds with 10 percent anger-confusion, "What does that mean?!?!?"

I laughed and said, "You asked me how to heat up a cold object and I gave you a technicaLLy correct method for warming it up to maybe 98.6 degrees."

I paused and thought of an improvement, "OR ... you could put it under your arm, that might work faster." Then I said something about moisture content, I forget the eXact wording.

My close way offering is not quite a microwave oven.

Much later I realized that if she simply eats the cold cinnamon roLL it wiLL heat up to her body temperature while also converting its chemicals as fuel heating up the body ... so in effect, a self warming cinnamon roLL.

My wife has stolen my iPad most of the time because her new game crashes on her iPad. Her iPad is older and doesn't run the same operating system version. Both operating systems are the latest versions possible for their particular hardware. Strange.

I left out a veRy good story from Saturday evening simply because I wiLL have to see a particular teleBision commercial again before I can teLL you the tale. Sorry. But I have most of it wrote, just waiting on some details.

I would warm the roll on top of the toaster, although there is a risk of toasting it.

I was a little worried about the 87% change and being 16 times further away plus a 100% microwave failure.

I also have no cows in real life, I suspect that 87% of the worlds population have no cows and are 16 time further away from a cow than the 13% that do have cows.

Rob: The reaLLy cool part of your words is that I understand them 187 percent, but I can't eXplain why it is more than 100%. After I saw your comment the other day about Bishop's Castle I spent time studying more of your area and showed it to Jesus while I was at the diner. The wikipedia article on Bishop's Castle was pretty long for such a smaLL place, cool. Then I saw the mention of the Iron Bridge, and remembered that from my industrial studies, not realizing that it is somewhat near you on the Severn. Jesus thought you were in whiles so I showed him how close you were on a map and eXplained that Bishop's Castle used to be on the "frontier" between England and Wales. I also discovered there is a Bishop Castle in southern Colorado a few hours from me.

I do live exactly 1.1 miles from the boarder between England and Wales but previously (18 months ago), I lived in Montgomery 0.5 miles from the border on the Welsh side of the border (I lived there for 30 years). Previously to that I lived in Aberdeen in Scotland which is my family home, although previously to that I lived in England for a very long time.

The border between England and Wales is very twisty here and I can drive 10 miles and cross it 4 or 5 times. there is a place called Churchstoke about 4 miles away in Wales but you cant drive in or out of Churchstoke unless you drive into England.

Churchstoke is the home of Harry Tuffins supermarket empire and the store has a friendly parrot once stolen by two men but the parrot was able to tell someone that he had been stolen and so the thieves were caught and the parrot returned to the store.

Did you know that when you see a herd of cows grazing - 87% of them graze in the same direction. I have verified this through persistent observation.

Badger: Sounds like you have given me a science project-investigation. I wonder if they have a tendency to face towards or away from the sun? That might be a driving force. I wiLL ask my cattle ranching aunt-uncle-cousin family in South Dakota about this as weLL. An aerial photograph view of a feed lot would be interesting and might be easier to count.

Rob: I loved your parrot story. You have given me more Welshish things to eXplore.

Badger: I found an article about cattle grazing in a north-south orientation, where the scientists are trying to claim maybe a magnetic influence from the earth. But I think it may be as simple as the cattle stand facing south so their shadow is on the north side and they are eating grass that is brightly illuminated. The BBC picture showed most of the cattle facing towards the light, but of course it is just one picture. I prefer to eat in restaurants at tables where I have the fewest number of people behind me.

Sheep are far more likely to eat all facing in the same direction, just in case.

Rob: I think I wiLL start eating in the direction that would theoreticaLLy make the most amount of sunlight be in front of me, even if I am indoors and there is absolutely no sunshine visible. This wiLL give me a more dynamic reasoning process for choosing my seat with my family.
