Absent For A Bit ....

I am away for a little while working on a few or more episodes for The Adventures of My Space Alien Alter Ego story ... will return (to Earth) soon!

Notice: Blogger has screwed up and lost a bunch of photos out of my blog! They are replaced with a gray silhouette of a human head. I will eventually get them replaced with the correct photo, it may take a while to find and fix everything. So some of my stories don't make much sense without their photos, sorry for the inconvenience.

Almo$t Forever

The reason why the Post Office prints "Forever" on their stamps is because its shorter and takes less ink than "Good Until We Run Out Of Money".

I saw this morning that stamps went up by a penny. But I buy forever stamps anyway. I think any intended first class stamp from the past should be a Forever class stamp.

All my forever stamps are Santa Claus and Reindeer. That wiLL look kinda strange in July. Maybe.

When I have shotgun questions it makes perfect sense to seek the ad-Vice from the Vice President. Oh, sorry, did I say 'perfect', perhaps I was thinking of a different fect word, say, maybe defect.

Fact: Less than one tenth of one percent of aLL cottage cheese is manufactured in a cottage.

Today's Dumb Joke: Do you know why they don't hold the Olympics in Budapest?

Because they would be known as The Hungary Games.

Sometimes I think I accidentaLLy got some one else's bucket list.

It involves a wide variety of containers.

And surprisingly, lids.

I found a teleBision show caLLed 'An Idiot Abroad'. This episode has an Englishman in Russia. This should not be confused with a different show caLL 'A Broad Idiot'.

I just got finished hearing someone use the term 'Jet Age' to describe something ultramodern. The jet engine has been around for over sixty years, so you could actuaLLy encounter antique items that are 'Jet Age'.

Considering when I was born, even I am 'Jet Age'.

Most days I don't feel veRy ultramodern.

I am okay right now, weLL, most of me. The outside of my nose is cold. I am hoping it doesn't spread. It could turn out to be a strange case of progressive frostbite.

Ah ... my life is pho-nomenal, taste buds veRy happy happy happy (I got that last part from Duck Dynasty). Hope you are feeling better soon. I am just busy watching siLLy folks on Netflix today. I do have to work tomorrow, weLL, I also fixed a complicated door knob earlier today with just a screwdriver, charm and I let my wife know that it was the wire from the Christmas lights that she had in the door hinge that was messin' everything up.

This comment is originaLLy from Rob Z Tobor. I accidentaLLy deleted his comment with my fat finger while trying to publish his comment on my iPhone. Luckily I was able to recover the deleted comment from my e-mail.

I have not heard the term forever stamps. We have first class and second class stamps, the plain ones have 1st or 2nd on them and they can be used even if the price goes up which happened last year by 10p (thats a 10p increase). You can buy stamps with a price on then but if the cost of sending stamps goes up you need to ensure that what is on the letter/parcel is the right amount.

I rather enjoyed An Idiot Abroad, he had never been abroad and they just sent him off to obscure places and booked terrible hotels and the like for him to stop in. His description of the great pyramid is a classic piece of pure realism

I agree the jet age should maybe be The Hybrid Age as the trend is towards hybrid and electric cars.

I have never had a list of buckets.

You can see that I at least managed to get this comment of yours published, yea! I am having a successful day baking, right nw taking a break from washing dishes I should have already finished. At least the Ford repair people finaLLy caLLed so I can get my truck tomorrow. My mother gave me a name for my culinary invention today. It is a modified bierox where I replace the cabbage with red beLL peppers. The word is Pep-rox.

People still use stamps?

Surprisingly yes. I saw on teleBision you can buy a kit to print them on your computer. This sounds like a not so great idea to me.
