I noticed that the Republican presidential nomination was progressively leaning toward one person long before I get a chance to vote. The states of Texas, California, and New York are among the leading states by population, yet none of them have voted yet, and the "winner" Romney appears to have been picked.
Delegates
TX - 155
CA - 172
NY - 95
Group:422
National Total: 2286
I wonder how the states that have already voted in the primary would like it IF the final national election was an equaLLy long drawn out mess AND the order the states voted in was reversed from the primary process.

I don't understand the voting system in the USA. But then I am not a fan of the British system.
You should never vote for anyone one says you should vote for them.
Rob: As you can see I can eXplain it, but I don't understand it either.
Personal opinion, all states vote on the same day and let the chips fall where they may. Politics have gotten so stupid.
But ya gotta love the dog on the roof versus the dog in your stomach.
I alwayss wondered how that order was determined...
fmcgmccllc: ha, I have never heard the dog-roof-dog-stomach statement before! I have absolutely no idea what it could mean. I am actuaLLy going to delay googling it aNd let my lil bwain roLL it around for awhile .... That might be fun to revise that saying with a different set of A, B, and C where A=dog, B=roof, and C=stomach
A=tarantula
B=driveway
C=shoulder
That choice is an actual event for my wife and older son.
Before I remembered that event I had bellybutton instead of shoulder.
Shelly: Fellow Texas Neighbor, I am sure you feel my frustration. At least I got some laundry and dishes done today. So if I do anything at aLL in any 24 hour time period it is probably more worthwhile than a week's worth of Romney rambling.
I have heard of a cat on a hot tin roof and a hot dog but never a hot politician although I am sure I have heard of hot issues and the one that comes to my mind is Howl did the dog get on the roof
HA HAH HAH AH hah hah hhahah ha h h hahah hhah h a
Rob: When I turn the corner to go left after I leave my driveway there is a cat quite frequently on the roof of the carport. The design is such that the house is much higher than the carport, so it easy for the cat to get there. I also eXperienced a cat under a hot non-tin roof while I was helping move a large "tin" object (HVAC unit) inside an attic. The siLLy cat climbed a ladder and we had no idea how to get down, so we did nothing, deciding that the owner would have to deal with coaxing the coat, knowing the correct meow sequences. But while we were waiting on something the cat came down the eXtension ladder aLL by itself.
