At this moment I am stuck in the corner of a banquet room at the corner of the table waiting for the party to be over (escape!), but because the entire wall is mirrored to my right, it appears that my mirror image, named Tsenre, and I are seated against the wall in the middle. So I compared people to their mirror images to see which ones I prefered, and half of them looked better in the mirror than in real life.
When I posted that first paragraph live as my Facebook status from the party at the restaurant using my small computer like device, my friend from the East Coast asked me if I did it with one eye closed.
My response was: My next comment as soon as I got home was going to say: "And then I went around passing out business cards of my plastic surgeon to half the people who needed some "help" = "near mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest half of all?"
Now I am not sure how many eyes I had open, well, between Tsenre and Ernest, we at least had a pair of eyes on the unruly crowd
It was a party for a very special friend of my wife and several of their classmates from cosmetology school from ~10 years ago. Their friend-classmate from Spearman TX has gone through several medical procedures to save her life, transplants etc. and she just got home from Houston after some recent work. They even had a special on the TV local news one night a few weeks ago about her coming home, her ordeal and the city of Spearman throwing her a welcome home celebration.
We are so glad she is home for the holidays with her family.
Don't worry, I don't really carry a stack of business cards of a plastic surgeon (mainly because I don't know any) in my coat pocket. But I may start, ... soon
