I love duck, duck confit, Peking duck, BBQ duck almost any kind of duck. My favorite sight while driving home was looking at all the duck butts along Lake Shore Drive. We had thousands of ducks.
fmcgmccllc: I imagine ducks are slightly safer in Detroit versus the PRoC. We have quite a few migrate over us and even have a few duck ponds around our town. My older son had wedding photos shot by the duck pond at the condos out by the golf course several years ago, I just remembered that. Oh, I also recall a silly piece I wrote about four years ago hoping that the then current McDonald's restaurant renovation was going to be a duck pond installation. Searching ...

Where DOES Paris duck?
A couple years ago a few duckhunters set up outside the GPYC, and you should have heard the outcry. No matter that it was legal, no matter the ducks were walking in the road, there was quite the uproar.
However when the ice shanty contingent came out, not a peep.
fmcgmccllc: I thought I knew what an ice shanty was, and guessed right. I told my wife what I was going to get her for Christmas, so when she is bad, I'll have a place for her to stay. She asked me, laughing, "are you going to put me out in the middle of nowhere?" and I replied, "No, I'll set it up in the backyard, and run an eXtension cord. I want you to stay warm".
I know, you're probably thinking, "how thoughtful !!!"
I figured the GP of GPYC was Grosse Pointe, then did some google stuff, so Yacht Club, I think I got it figured out now.
